Guy Paddock is the Lead Software Architect and Chief Technology Officer of RedBottle Design, LLC.

Guy is no stranger to applying software development processes to the construction of enterprise information systems and enterprise software architectures. Prior to joining the Red Bottle Team, Guy worked with the Life-Cycle Maintenance team of Citrix Systems Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida from 2006 to 2008. There, he developed, tested and deployed a new system for tracking software hotfixes and service packs for all Citrix product lines and product versions, supporting thousands of Citrix customers worldwide. In addition, Guy has also worked for Paetec Communications of Victor, NY to upgrade, test and maintain the portal site that all of Paetec’s corporate customers use to manage their accounts.

In addition to valuable career expertise, Guy has a distinguished education and a strong background in research and development. Guy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering in 2009 with minors in Computer Science and Psychology and a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He earned those from RIT, the first university to offer software engineering at an undergraduate level. As one of the top members of his class, Guy was chosen during his first year to write several of the code examples and code exercises for the textbook “Bioinformatics: A Computing Perspective” by Gopal, Haake, Jones, and Tymann. In addition, Guy worked with the Open Publishing Lab at RIT from late 2008 through early 2010 to research and implement innovative approaches for combining both web and print technology to increase the portability and convenience of information. Throughout the time he was involved with them, the lab received several awards, including the coveted 2009 RIT Innovation Festival award from the RIT Alumni Association Board of Directors.
