RedBottle Design is comprised of a group of young professionals living, working, and collaborating in the Rochester, New York area. The group includes programmers, business and marketing experts, designers and illustrators. You can learn more about them at our website. Together, they offer a wide range of services to a variety of clients.

Our strength is in our flexibility. The managers at RedBottle Design will choose from our many talented employees to organize a project staff that meets each of your project’s individual needs. If necessary, RedBottle can also utilize its vast network of subject specialists to provide additional resources.

Misha Makara

Misha Makara is the founder and CEO of RedBottle Design, LLC.

Misha graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology with a degree in Networking Security and System Administration with a minor in French and a concentration in Spanish. Currently he is a candidate for a Masters of Business Administration with specialization in Technology Management at RIT. Misha also is a Certified Information Security Professional (CISSP) and a VMware Certified Professional (VCP). He also has over five years of industry experience with system administration, design implementation and maintenance for a range of clients from small businesses to the federal government.

When not overseeing RedBottle, Misha enjoys cooking, painting and running. He also holds his Waterfront Safety Instructor certification and will often skip lunch for a swim at the pool. Misha has also been classically trained in music and has been known on occasion to watch, and perform with, local musical groups.

Brad Elsmore

Brad Elsmore is the Lead Developer and Vice President of RedBottle Design, LLC.

Brad graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology's Professional and Technical Communications program in 2005. During his time at RIT, he had the distinguished privilege of being inducted to the Communication's Honors Society. In addition to Communications, Brad has had training in Computer Animation and Graphic Arts.

Joining the company in 2009, Brad brought with him experience with marketing, graphic design and software development. Specializing in Microsoft SQL Databases, as well as the Microsoft .NET platform including experience with the C# and Visual Basic programming languages, he has developed both small and enterprise scale database-driven web applications. In addition, he has experience using Adobe products such as Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.

Guy Paddock

Guy Paddock is the Lead Software Architect and Chief Technology Officer of RedBottle Design, LLC.

Guy is no stranger to applying software development processes to the construction of enterprise information systems and enterprise software architectures. Prior to joining the Red Bottle Team, Guy worked with the Life-Cycle Maintenance team of Citrix Systems Inc. of Fort Lauderdale, Florida from 2006 to 2008. There, he developed, tested and deployed a new system for tracking software hotfixes and service packs for all Citrix product lines and product versions, supporting thousands of Citrix customers worldwide. In addition, Guy has also worked for Paetec Communications of Victor, NY to upgrade, test and maintain the portal site that all of Paetec’s corporate customers use to manage their accounts.

In addition to valuable career expertise, Guy has a distinguished education and a strong background in research and development. Guy received his Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering in 2009 with minors in Computer Science and Psychology and a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. He earned those from RIT, the first university to offer software engineering at an undergraduate level. As one of the top members of his class, Guy was chosen during his first year to write several of the code examples and code exercises for the textbook “Bioinformatics: A Computing Perspective” by Gopal, Haake, Jones, and Tymann. In addition, Guy worked with the Open Publishing Lab at RIT from late 2008 through early 2010 to research and implement innovative approaches for combining both web and print technology to increase the portability and convenience of information. Throughout the time he was involved with them, the lab received several awards, including the coveted 2009 RIT Innovation Festival award from the RIT Alumni Association Board of Directors.

Rose Khan

Rose Catherine Khan is a Design Lead for RedBottle Design, LLC.

Both a graphic designer and illustrator, Rose is highly skilled in traditional and digital artwork, and takes pride in her diverse range of artistic abilities. Rose also enjoys teaching art in the community for organizations such as Artech, RIT Kids on Campus and the Henrietta Public Library.

Rose began her professional career as a graphic design intern for the Penn Traffic Corporation in 2005. In 2006, she graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology magna cum laude with degrees in Illustration and Graphic Design. After graduation, Rose became a Graphic Artist for the Demco Corporation. During that time, she worked on a variety of print and web projects as well as assisting the launch of its highly successful e-mail marketing program.

Rose became a freelancer in 2008 and has served a variety of clients, including The Clothes Horse, Monroe County Public Libraries, and Second Avenue Learning. Currently, she is working on promoting her first children's book, Planet Zeep: The Mathmagical Wish. Along with her position at RedBottle, Rose works part-time as an art instructor for a small private school in Rochester, New York.

Sarah Kirchoff

Sarah M. Kirchoff is a Design Lead for RedBottle Design, LLC.

Sarah graduated in 2008 with her MFA in Graphic Design from the Rochester Institute of Technology. Kirchoff's MFA thesis project, titled “The Influence of Context on Message Making and Audience Reception in Graphic Design”, received the "Doing A
Lot With A Little
" award at the 2010 Society for Environmental Graphic Design conference in Washington, DC.

Kirchoff recently accepted a new full-time position as the Assistant Director of Public Relations for University Communications at the University of Rochester. There she leads an editorial and design team to bring print and web projects from initial conception to final production

As a jewelry and fine artist, Kirchoff participates in private and public art and craft shows in the Rochester area, including Artist Row at the Rochester Public Market. She is currently serving as a member of the 2011 Artist Row planning committee as well as volunteering general design services to the Rochester Public Market.
